I manage the administrative operation, public relations, fundraising events, and coordinate Family Support Groups and activities. I also serve on several committees and boards that are relevant to our organization.

I hope that you find this website helpful and informative. Be sure to check out our links to other Down Syndrome related organizations. And please visit us often.

Down Syndrome of Louisville, Inc. (DSL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 by Mary Carter, an early childhood educator who established the first Early Intervention Education program for children with Down syndrome in Kentucky.
Our grass roots organization grew with parent support to incorporate in 1991 to offer services for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages.
