What We Offer

In our Academy there are a variety of different classes and life skills taught.  We strive to teach the adults skills that will enhance their independence in whatever stage of life they may be in.  We also have a strong healthy initiative goal in everything we do.  We want to teach our adults how to lead healthy lifestyles and encourage them to make informed decisions about their personal health goals.  We start each day with a stretching and Yoga class to encourage healthy movement! Other classes taught include: Reading/Literacy, Leadership/Volunteerism, Life Skills, Computer/Technology, and Healthy Living.  We also offer electives 1-2 times a week such as Boxing, Art, Drama, Yoga, and Cooking/Kitchen Safety. Community involvement is also important to us here in the ADA program.  We engage in activities such as delivering meals to the elderly twice a week; and participate in fun outings such as eating out, going to the movies, trips to the park, and grocery store outings for our cooking class.  Our staff is dedicated to continue to find fun and beneficial activities for our adult members to be a part of in our community.
