“College Connections” Postsecondary Education Program (21+ years)
In partnership with Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC), this program provides an opportunity for adults with Down syndrome to attend college. This three-year program consists of students enrolling in both specialized courses (designed and taught specifically for “College Connections” students) and mainstream courses of their choice on campus. Students are matched with an academic mentor who assists them in their JCTC courses. A certificate from the college is attained upon completion. Payment options for this program include scholarship funds or private pay.
